

This has allowed him to get closer to his patients and their families, and to practice family orientated, service driven Pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat care for his newly adopted community.


Wohl decided to leave corporate administered clinic medicine in 2003 and establish a private practice in pediatric and adolescent otolaryngology. In order to best serve children and their families in the manner that he would choose for his own family, Dr. During this tenure, he was appointed as an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at the Mayo Medical School. He and his family moved to northeast Florida to assume that position and he served with distinction as Division Chief for two years. Wohl was asked to lead the ongoing development of the Pediatric Otolaryngology program at the Nemours Children’s Clinic here in Jacksonville. He was promoted to Associate Professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics in 1999. During that tenure, he was instrumental in establishing pediatric otolaryngology throughout the greater Richmond and Central Virginia metropolitan region where he earned the reputation as a tireless patient advocate. Wohl served as Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology for both the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University and for the local free standing Children’s Hospital, in Richmond, Virginia.
